The Mandaue City Government officially turned over a newly constructed administrative building for the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Female Dorm in Barangay Basak on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. The new facility is designed to serve as the central administrative hub for the BJMP Female Dorm, streamlining daily operations and improving coordination with the National Government. During the turnover ceremony, Mayor Thadeo “Jonkie” Ouano, along with representatives from the office of Rep. Emmarie “Lolypop” Ouano-Dizon and BJMP officials, highlighted the collaborative effort behind the project.
