Oftana seeks redemption in Game 4

After a disappointing performance in Game 3, TNT Tropang 5G forward Calvin Oftana has vowed to bounce back in Game 4 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals against Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings on Wednesday evening, June 10, 2026, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Ginebra took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series after a dominant 116-102 victory on Sunday, June 7. However, coach Tim Cone emphasized that there is no room for celebration, recalling how their 3-2 lead last year slipped away as TNT won the next two games to claim the championship. "We're only focused on the next game," Cone said.

Oftana, who scored just two points in Game 3 after erupting for 31 in Game 2, acknowledged his poor outing. "My game was really bad, and I didn't help the team. Christmas doesn't come every day... but luckily, there's a second chance. There are still games left, and I can still make up for it," he said. Rey Nambatac, another TNT player who struggled, also promised to step up.
