Former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Josh Ford successfully underwent five surgical procedures on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The operations were performed to address various nasal and ear issues, including injuries from a past accident.
Details of the Surgeries
The procedures included septoplasty, uncinectomy, polypectomy, left turbinectomy, and left myringoplasty. Septoplasty is a surgical procedure to correct a deviated septum, which improves breathing. An uncinectomy involves the removal of small growths inside the nose, while a polypectomy removes nasal polyps that can cause blockage. The left turbinectomy removes the largest turbinate to enhance airflow. Additionally, doctors repaired a ruptured eardrum through left myringoplasty.
Cause of Ear Injury
The myringoplasty was reportedly necessary due to injuries sustained in a 2023 car accident. The tragic incident also claimed the life of his fellow Sparkle artist, Andrei Sison.
