According to Ms. Jenn Khylei Lacuesta, Executive Chairperson of the Young Communicators' Circle, the selection process for Best Local AM Radio Station was rigorous. For the Best Local AM Radio Personality award, criteria included length of service, clarity in news delivery, quality of news stories, accuracy, and relevance to programming.
