The Barangay Baring in Lapu-Lapu City celebrated the Panurista Festival 2026 successfully on June 15, 2026, paying tribute to the tourism industry. Participants donned colorful costumes inspired by the sea and the island-hopping culture, showcasing their talent and community pride through creative street dancing performances that depicted the friendliness, unity, and cultural identity of the residents.

The Lapu-Lapu City Government, led by Mayor Cindi King-Chan, together with Barangay Baring Officials and SK Officials, collaborated to make the festival a success. The event highlighted the community's spirit and commitment to promoting local tourism.
