The Talamban Police Station is expanding its investigation into the death of a 26-year-old woman from Pagadian City, who was found dead inside her rented room in Barangay Talamban at around 7:10 a.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
Victim Identified
The victim was identified only by the alias Baby, a native of Pagadian City but currently residing at MJU Building in Barangay Talamban.
According to reports, the Talamban Police Station received a call from the 911 hotline informing them of a dead person at the location.
When investigators arrived, they found the victim lying lifeless on a double-deck bed.
Boyfriend's Account
According to the victim's boyfriend, when he arrived at around 5:30 a.m., he found Baby already lying on the lower bunk of the bed. He believed that the victim took her own life using a dog leash due to financial problems.
However, the Talamban Police Station will further investigate whether there was any foul play in the victim's death.
