A 59-year-old widower was found without life inside his residence in Purok Water Lily, Barangay Tuyan, Naga City on Saturday afternoon, November 22, 2025. The victim, identified as Brenner Gutierrez Obejero, was discovered by his own brother during a welfare check.
Brother Makes Heartbreaking Discovery
According to the victim's brother, Jessie Obejero, he decided to visit Brenner after not seeing him for approximately two days. When he entered the house around 2:00 PM, he encountered the grim scene of his brother lying motionless on the floor, already showing signs of decomposition.
Jessie Obejero immediately reported the discovery to local authorities. Police received the formal report at 5:00 PM on the same date and quickly dispatched personnel to the scene to conduct initial investigations and document the circumstances.
