The Municipality of Masantol joined the entire Philippines in a solemn and patriotic observance of Rizal Day this Tuesday, December 30, 2025. The local government unit (LGU) organized a ceremony to honor the life, works, and ultimate sacrifice of the country's national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal.

The commemorative event was spearheaded by Vice Mayor Liezle “Buday” Guintu, who was joined by the town's councilors.
