Pampanga Opens P12.53M Barangay Hall & Court

New Community Hub Inaugurated in Apalit, Pampanga

Vice Governor Dennis "Delta" Pineda recently spearheaded the official opening of a new Multi-Purpose Hall and Covered Court in Barangay Balucuc, located in the municipality of Apalit. The significant infrastructure project, valued at P12.53 million, was fully funded by the Provincial Government of Pampanga to serve the local community.

Project Funding and Generous Land Donation

The Capitol provided a detailed breakdown of the funding, revealing that P8.56 million was allocated for the construction of the covered court, while P3.97 million was invested in the multi-purpose hall. The land on which these vital structures now stand was generously donated by the Ponce Family, a contribution for which Vice Governor Pineda expressed profound gratitude during the inauguration ceremony.

The entire construction process was completed efficiently within a span of nine months, demonstrating the provincial government's commitment to timely project delivery. The event was attended by key local officials, including Apalit Mayor Jun Tetangco and Vice Mayor Peter Nucom, who joined Pineda in celebrating this milestone for Barangay Balucuc.

Health Services and Future Developments

Aligning with the event, Capitol employees conducted a bloodletting activity and distributed free medicines to residents. This initiative is an integral part of the provincial government's "Alagang Nanay" Preventive Healthcare Program, which aims to bring essential health services directly to communities.

Looking forward, the provincial government has announced plans to further enhance local services by constructing a barangay health center in the same barangay. This reaffirms the administration's ongoing dedication to comprehensive community development and public welfare in Pampanga.
