Pampanga Inaugurates Renovated Minalin Convention Center with P10-M Upgrade

The Provincial Government of Pampanga, in a collaborative effort with the Municipal Government of Minalin, has officially inaugurated the newly renovated Minalin Multi-Purpose Convention Center (MMCC) located in Barangay Sta. Rita. This significant infrastructure project represents a major step forward in enhancing public facilities within the municipality, aimed at fostering community engagement and supporting local events.

Substantial Investment in Public Infrastructure

The provincial government allocated a substantial budget of P10 million for the renovation of the convention center, underscoring its commitment to improving public infrastructure across Pampanga. This investment has transformed the facility into a modern venue equipped with advanced amenities to better serve the residents of Minalin and surrounding areas.

Enhanced Features and Capacity

The upgraded Minalin Multi-Purpose Convention Center now boasts several key improvements designed to increase its functionality and comfort. These enhancements include:

  • A centralized air-conditioning system to ensure a pleasant environment for all attendees.
  • Two private rooms for meetings or smaller gatherings.
  • Two office rooms to support administrative needs.
  • Two comfort rooms, improving accessibility and convenience for visitors.

Capitol officials highlighted that this project fulfills the commitment of Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda to elevate public infrastructure in the municipality. In a statement, Pineda expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "Mabilis pu ing progresu king miyayabe tamu ngan pu. Ikami pung leaders yu misasaup kami pu. Itang linub ku pu me-amaze ku eke pu akilala ining multipurpose convention center tamu pu. Minalin Mayor Philip Naguit extended his gratitude to the provincial government for funding the renovation of the former convention center. In recognition of this support, the municipal government unveiled a marker acknowledging the financial assistance provided, symbolizing the strong partnership between local and provincial authorities.
