The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) implemented a reshuffle of officials from several police stations and special units on Friday, April 24, 2026. The transfer of positions was carried out following the reassignment of other officers to different regions.
Turnover Ceremony Led by CCPO Director
CCPO Director Police Colonel George Ylanan personally led the Joint Turnover and Assumption of Office Ceremony held at the CCPO conference room. The event marked the official assumption of new roles for several officers.
Key Appointments and Transfers
Under the new command, Police Lieutenant Colonel Franco Rudolf Oriol was appointed as Deputy City Director for Administration. Police Major Marvin Fegarido, formerly the chief of Labangon Police Station 10, now heads the City Community Affairs and Development Unit (CCADU). Replacing him at Station 10 is Police Captain Joel Dela Cerna.
Police Captain Arnel Ancheta of Adlaon Police Station 13 was succeeded by Police Captain Leonyl Iren, while Police Lieutenant Vincent Bandoles of Malubog Police Station 12 was replaced by Police Captain Jurry Papasin.

Ylanan Emphasizes Importance of Skilled Personnel
According to Ylanan, it is crucial to place skilled personnel in critical positions to ensure continued peace and order in the city. He stated, "Through this ceremony, the CCPO once again demonstrated its steadfast dedication to strengthening internal coordination, sustaining operational readiness, and ensuring the continuous delivery of responsive, efficient, and effective public service in line with its mandate to serve and protect the people of Cebu City."
The official also instructed the new chiefs to focus on pursuing criminals and engaging with the community to guarantee the safety of residents in their respective jurisdictions.
