According to official data released by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) through its Crisis Intervention Unit (CIU), the social services reached 11,086 beneficiaries throughout Davao del Sur. The largest allocation within the social assistance program was directed toward hospital bill assistance, which received ₱33,927,707 and benefited 6,874 clients requiring immediate medical support. - Special Cases Category: ₱2,229,900 provided to 442 clients under unique circumstances
- Livelihood Support: ₱386,500 directed toward assisting 121 tricycle operators and solo parents

"I do believe that those who have less in life must be helped and must be given priority. We must recognize that the job of the PSWDO is one of the most difficult tasks here in the provincial government. The job of a social worker requires absolute patience," Cagas stated.
