The Manila City government has implemented temporary road closures and rerouting schemes for motorists in Malate on Saturday, June 27, in connection with the Manila Pride Parade 2026. Traffic changes will begin at 8:00 AM.
Roads affected
Several roads around Remedios Circle will be temporarily closed, including Remedios Circle, Jorge Bocobo Street from San Andres Street to Remedios Circle, and Remedios Street from Jorge Bocobo Street to Guerrero Street.
Rerouting and traffic schemes
Motorists coming from San Andres Street are advised to take Guerrero Street, while those from Adriatico Street must turn left onto Gen. Malvar Street to reach their destinations. A stop-and-go traffic scheme will also be implemented at key intersections along San Andres Street, A. Mabini Street, Adriatico Street, Pedro Gil Street, and Gen. Malvar Street.
Purpose of measures
These measures aim to maintain smooth traffic flow and public safety during the parade, according to the Manila Public Information Office.
