Pampanga Police Apprehend Magalang's Top Wanted and Seven Others in Coordinated Raids

In a significant crackdown on criminal activities, the Pampanga Police Provincial Office has successfully arrested the number one most wanted person in Magalang town, along with seven other individuals, during a series of operations conducted across the province on Monday, February 16, 2026.

Major Arrests and Charges

According to Colonel Eugene Marcelo, director of the Pampanga Police Provincial Office, the Magalang police apprehended the town's Top 1 Most Wanted Person in Barangay San Nicolas 2. The arrest was made under a warrant for two counts of rape by sexual assault, highlighting the severity of the charges.

In separate operations, the Bacolor and Minalin police teams arrested two additional wanted persons. These suspects are facing charges related to theft and violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Anti-Drug and Weapon Seizures

The Mabalacat City Police Station conducted anti-drug operations that led to the arrest of three alleged drug dealers. During these raids, authorities confiscated approximately five grams of shabu, with an estimated street value of P34,000, and a 9mm revolver loaded with ammunition.

In Macabebe, police arrested another suspect who was found in possession of 1.6 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P10,880, along with a .22 caliber firearm and two live rounds of ammunition.

Additionally, the Magalang police executed a buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of a suspect accused of selling a .38 caliber revolver to an undercover operative. The suspect was also discovered to have 0.3 grams of shabu, worth P2,040, in their possession.

Ongoing Campaign Against Crime

Colonel Marcelo emphasized that these operations are part of a continuous and intensified campaign aimed at combating criminality and illegal drugs throughout Pampanga province. The coordinated efforts across multiple police stations demonstrate a robust approach to law enforcement and public safety.

The arrests and seizures underscore the police's commitment to addressing serious offenses, including sexual assault, drug trafficking, and illegal possession of firearms, contributing to a safer community environment.
