The Philippine National Police (PNP) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is set to meet with all parties interested in running in the parliamentary election. According to PBGeneral Jaysen De Guzman, PNP Regional Director of BARMM, they are coordinating with various law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe and peaceful election.
Security Measures During Election Period
Once the election period begins, stricter measures will be implemented in the region. De Guzman stated that all armed groups in the area are considered security threats, and the police will remain on high alert.
The PNP is committed to maintaining order and preventing any disruptions during the electoral process. The meeting with political parties aims to discuss security protocols and ensure compliance with election laws.
