The 2026 Cebu Executives and Professionals Chess Association (Cepca) President's Cup will be held on May 30, 2026, at the CCC Chess Club on the 4th floor of Robinsons Galleria Cebu. This annual tournament, part of the birthday celebration of Cepca President Engr. Jerry Maratas, offers a total prize fund of P50,000.
Prize Breakdown
The champion will receive P20,000, the second placer P10,000, and third to sixth placers will get P5,000, P3,000, P2,000, and P1,000 respectively. Additionally, the top two finishers in various categories—Cepcans A and B, lady, senior, U8, U12, U16, and U20—will receive incentives of P1,000 and P500.
Registration Details
Registration fee is P300, but free for FIDE titled players. Discounts of P100 are available for Cepcans, senior citizens, PWDs, women, and children aged 12 and below. Interested participants are encouraged to register before the tournament day. Those registering on the day itself will be charged P350.
