Ancajas will battle undefeated Omar Trinidad in a featherweight match as the co-main event of Zuffa Boxing 8 in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday, June 29, 2026 (Philippine time).
Aware that he needs a dominant victory to get back on track for a world title fight, Ancajas is determined to deliver a resounding performance. A veteran of 44 professional bouts, Ancajas (38-4-2) is convinced that his experience as a champion will give him an edge over the rising and younger Trinidad (20-0-2).
Despite remaining confident in his abilities, Ancajas stated that he will not be complacent in the slightest.
