The Philippine National Police (PNP) has issued a direct order to intensify intelligence monitoring of popular online gaming applications, including Roblox, in response to escalating concerns over child exploitation. PNP Chief, PGen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., has mandated the PNP – Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) to enhance surveillance of internet gaming activities, following alarming reports that criminals are exploiting these platforms to target and abuse minors.

Authorities have received multiple warnings indicating that online games are being used by predators to communicate with and exploit underage players. Nartatez expressed deep concern over the situation, highlighting the vulnerability of children who frequently access these applications.
