Thirty-eight couples were united in marriage during the Kasalan ng Bayan 2026 held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, as part of the 65th Charter Day celebration of Lapu-Lapu City.
Wedding Ceremony at Nuestra Señora de Regla Parish
The ceremony took place at the Nuestra Señora de Regla Parish National Shrine and was sponsored by the city government. Mayor Cindi King-Chan, in her message, emphasized that building a family is more advantageous with genuine love, commitment, and strong faith in God to endure a long union as a married couple.
Freebies and Cash Gift for Couples
Each couple received free wedding rings, a wedding cake, red wine, and a cash gift of P10,000.
