DSWD, Lazatin Aid Pampanga Tricycle Drivers Amid Fuel Hike

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), together with the office of Representative Carmelo Lazatin Jr., provided assistance to members of Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA) in the first district of Pampanga.

AICS Program for Transport Workers

The aid was extended through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program. Lazatin emphasized that the initiative aims to help transport workers recover from the impact of rising fuel prices.

“In the midst of the increase in fuel prices, this assistance will somehow help with the daily needs of our tricycle drivers and operators,” Lazatin said in a statement.
