BDO Unibank has solidified its status as a regional financial leader after being ranked among the ten most valuable banking brands in Southeast Asia. This prestigious recognition, awarded by the global brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance, marks BDO as the sole Philippine lender to secure a spot on the elite list.

A Prestigious Recognition at the Asia Brand Gala

The announcement was made during the Asia Brand Gala 2025 in Singapore, a key event that highlights brand excellence across the continent. This accolade underscores BDO's formidable brand strength and its successful navigation of the intensely competitive landscape among ASEAN banks.

The recent regional honor builds upon a significant national achievement for the bank. Earlier in the year, Brand Finance also named BDO the Philippines' most valuable brand for the second consecutive year. This domestic title came with a remarkable surge in brand valuation, which increased by 48 percent to reach $3.7 billion.

Alex Haigh, the Managing Director of Brand Finance Asia Pacific, personally presented the certification for the Philippines' most valuable brand to BDO executives. He highlighted that BDO's strong performance is a direct result of its effective strategy.
