Toledo City Buy-Busts Net 4 Suspects, P38K Shabu Seized

Four individuals were arrested in two separate buy-bust operations conducted by the Toledo City Police on the night of Monday, June 22, 2026.

First Operation in Barangay Dumlog

The first buy-bust operation took place at 10:01 PM in Barangay Dumlog, Toledo City, resulting in the arrest of Jade Macapobre, 27, single, a resident of the said barangay. Also arrested was his companion, Gilya Amor, 18, single, also a resident of Barangay Dumlog.

Confiscated from their possession were five packets of suspected shabu weighing 3.66 grams with an estimated value of P24,888.

The two are currently detained at the Toledo City Police Station and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 for alleged illegal drug selling.

Second Operation in Barangay Daanlungsod

The second buy-bust operation occurred at 11:48 PM in Barangay Daanlungsod, Toledo City, where friends James Lee Fajardo, 27, a plumber and resident of Barangay Dumlog, and Eduardo Taboada Alfante, 26, were arrested.

Seized from their possession were five packets of suspected shabu weighing 1.98 grams with an estimated value of P13,464.

The operations were carried out by operatives of the Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Toledo City Police Station under the command of Police Lieutenant Colonel Verniño Noserale, station chief.

Police are currently preparing the charges to be filed against the arrested suspects.
