Bacolod Ka-panda Wins Big at foodpanda Rider Party

foodpanda Logistics launched its annual nationwide celebration for delivery partners with a high-energy event in Bacolod City, where one lucky rider drove away with life-changing prizes.

Multi-City Celebration Honors Dedicated Riders

This year, foodpanda Logistics expanded its Pau-tastic Party ng Taon into a multi-city series to reach more partner rider communities across the Philippines. The festivities kicked off at Club K in Bacolod City, marking the first of three major legs planned for Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Ron Sanders, Rider Experience Lead of foodpanda Logistics Philippines, emphasized the event's purpose. He stated that the party is a major way to give back to the Ka-panda riders who power their daily service. The goal for this year was to make the appreciation more accessible, allowing riders from various regions to connect and enjoy the fun together.

Electric Night of Games and Major Wins

The Bacolod leg was packed with engaging activities, performances, and raffle draws. The highlight was the Pera o Panda Bag game, a thrilling adaptation of the classic noontime show segment. The venue's atmosphere reached a peak when Ka-panda Samuelle Perialde won the top prize: a brand-new motorcycle and a massive cash prize of Php 210,000.

Perialde, a single father of two and a five-year veteran with the platform, plans to use his winnings to support his children's education and repair his home, which was damaged by Typhoon Tino.

The generosity extended beyond the grand prize. Another Ka-panda, Bernie Rabong, a dedicated bicycle delivery rider, was among the winners of one of three Honda Aerox scooters raffled off as the event's grand prize. Numerous other riders also received cash, riding gear, and various gadgets throughout the night.

Star-Studded Performances and Community Spirit

The party featured an impressive entertainment lineup to keep the energy soaring. Performances from Filipino artists Lucas Garcia, Maui Bordador, Dreycruz, and Bert Symoun delighted the crowd. The event was expertly hosted by Tanya Chinita, Terry Gian, and Papa Toro.

A dose of nostalgia hit when iconic Filipino hip-hop group Salbakuta took the stage, performing classic hits like S2Pid Luv and Di Karapat Dapat.

Jason Base, a Ka-panda rider for four years, shared his experience. He expressed that having the Pau-tastic Party in the Visayas was a huge motivation. Celebrating with fellow Bacolod riders made the community feel like one big family, significantly strengthening their collective spirit.

More Celebrations Across the Philippines

The Pau-tastic Party ng Taon is foodpanda Logistics' heartfelt way to honor the dedication and daily contributions of its delivery partners during the holiday season. In addition to the three main events, the company is supporting localized gatherings organized by rider communities nationwide.

The party series continues with the next legs scheduled for Cagayan de Oro on December 7, 2025, and Pampanga on December 14, 2025. These events reinforce foodpanda Logistics' commitment to strengthening its bond with the partner riders who are essential to its service.
