Clark Development Corporation and Luxia Corporation Forge P4.4 Billion Partnership
On March 24, 2026, a landmark agreement was signed at the Clark Visitors Center, marking a significant expansion of Clark's hospitality and business landscape. The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and South Korea's Luxia Corporation have officially sealed a deal for a high-end mixed-use development project, injecting P4.4 billion into the region's Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) economy.
Details of the Development Project
The lease agreement grants Luxia Corporation a 20,000 square meter lot along Creekside Road, where the company plans to construct a premier mixed-use complex. This development will feature a luxury hotel and upscale apartments, designed to elevate Clark's status as a destination for both business and leisure travelers. The project is poised to enhance the area's infrastructure and attract further international investment.
Strengthening Philippine-Korea Relations
CDC President Agnes Devanadera emphasized that this project represents a major milestone in Philippine-Korea business relations. She highlighted its alignment with the bilateral trade agreements fostered by Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and South Korea President Lee Jae Myung. "We are considering this as one of the best projects to show that there are very good economic relations between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of the Philippines," Devanadera stated. She added, "Finally, we have this. We've been looking forward to this, we've been working on this, with extra efforts in determining how we can help one another and how we can put up one stone to another."
Luxia Corporation's Vision for Clark
Luxia Corporation, a subsidiary of Seoul-based Luxia Holdings, Inc., is a renowned upscale property developer. The signing ceremony was attended by key figures including Luxia Chief Executive Officer Chae Ji-won, Managing Director Kim Moonhyun, and J. Partners and Architects Director Paul Bae. Bae, an award-winning principal architect for a Luxia development in Seoul, expressed confidence in the project's impact. "We think Luxia will be the catalyst. It will be the bridge taking Clark to the next level, providing high-end residences, a premium hotel, hospitality, and retail," he said. Bae further noted that the property will "bring specialty and excellence of high-end residences to Clark."
This collaboration underscores a growing trend of international partnerships in the Philippines, driving economic growth and positioning Clark as a competitive hub in the global market. The development is expected to create jobs, boost tourism, and foster sustainable urban growth in the region.
