Davao Pasko Fiesta 2025: Month-Long Christmas Schedule

The Davao City government has officially announced the complete schedule for Pasko Fiesta sa Davao 2025, initiating a spectacular season of holiday celebrations that will captivate residents and visitors for more than a month.

Running from November 21 until December 31, 2025, the festivities promise an array of attractions, concerts, competitions, and community gatherings. This year's celebration carries the theme "Paskong Dabawenyo, Paskong Pilipino," which beautifully showcases the city's unique way of celebrating Christmas by blending cherished Filipino traditions with Davao's distinct community spirit and festive flair.

November Kick-off: Lighting Up the City

The holiday season officially begins on November 21 with the Koro sa Pasko Elimination Round at the SM City Davao Annex Event Center. The city will then gather at Rizal Park on November 27 for "Dan-ag sa Davao ug Pag-Abli sa Pasko," a ceremonial lighting event that formally opens the Christmas festivities.

November concludes with Panayegon sa City Hall from November 28–30, where the historic city government building will be spectacularly illuminated with Christmas-themed lights and decorations, creating a magical atmosphere for all visitors.

December Delights: A Month of Non-Stop Celebration

December brings an even more packed schedule of daily and district-wide events. The month-long Perya sa Pasko Fiesta from December 1-25 at Rizal Park will feature carnival rides and outdoor entertainment perfect for families and children.

Music takes center stage with the Koro sa Pasko Grand Finals on December 6, followed by the energetic Banda Dasig ug Parada sa Pasko on December 7, which will animate the streets from Roxas Avenue to San Pedro Square.

Community participation deepens with several significant events:

  • Pasko sa Barangay Hall (Final Round) on December 12
  • Additional lighting ceremonies at City Hall on December 13 and December 25 to 28
  • The return of Siyam ka Kadlawon from December 16 to 24 at San Pedro Square, featuring dawn Masses and traditional warming celebrations
  • The highlight Misa Dabawenyo on December 25 at San Pedro Cathedral

District Celebrations and Culinary Treats

One of the most anticipated events, Kasadya sa Pasko ug Kalingawan sa Distrito from December 15 to 20, will feature simultaneous neighborhood celebrations across multiple districts including Marilog, Los Amigos, Brgy. 5-A, Brgy. 22-C, Tibungco Proper, and Paquibato Malabog.

Food enthusiasts can look forward to the Pasko Fiesta Food Market and Bazaar from December 16 to 18, offering an extensive selection of local delicacies and Christmas treats. The festivities conclude with Pasko Fiesta: Merry Merkado from December 26 to 31 along Tulip Drive Coastal Road near Times Beach Rotonda, serving as a year-end community market.

While last year's event operated on a P50 million budget that included the iconic Parada sa Pasko, Banda Dasig, and Mugna sa Pasko Christmas costume competition, tourism officials emphasize that Pasko Fiesta represents more than just lights and attractions.

The celebration symbolizes the remarkable resilience of Dabawenyos, a community that continues to unite despite facing political challenges, natural calamities, and economic pressures. It serves as a powerful reminder of the city's enduring spirit of togetherness and triumph.

With the Christmas countdown now officially underway, both Dabawenyos and visitors are warmly invited to come together, celebrate, and experience the genuine warmth of Paskong Dabawenyo throughout this extended holiday season.
