The event, held on November 19, 2025, marked the beginning of the hotel's Jingle in the Jungle festivities, bringing early Christmas cheer to Westside City.

The Jungle Glow: Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony took place on November 19, 2025, signaling the start of Kingsford Hotel Manila's holiday programming. This year's theme honors Harri, the beloved Kingsford lion mascot known as the King of the Jungle, creating a unique blend of tropical elements and traditional Christmas decor.
General Manager Jorold Montelibano emphasized the significance of the event during his opening remarks. He stated that the ceremony represents more than just tradition, serving as the hotel's way of opening the season with gratitude, joy, and meaningful connections with guests and the community.
Festive Performances and Giant Harri Reveal
Guests at the ceremony enjoyed special performances by the Parañaque National High School Glee Club, whose harmonious voices filled the air with Christmas melodies. The youthful energy and festive charm of their performance added to the evening's celebratory atmosphere.
A major highlight of this year's celebration was the unveiling of Giant Harri, a 6-foot-tall installation inspired by the original Harri plushie introduced during the hotel's launch. The name Harri comes from the Tagalog word for king, symbolizing leadership, strength, and compassion. Now dressed in festive Santa attire, the giant installation will remain in the hotel lobby throughout the season, with outfits changing to match different celebrations year-round.
Letters to Harri CSR Initiative
In keeping with the spirit of Christmas giving, Kingsford Hotel Manila launched Letters to Harri, a corporate social responsibility program in partnership with St. Rita Orphanage in Parañaque City. Inspired by the traditional Letters to Santa, hotel representatives visited the orphanage to collect children's Christmas wishes addressed to Harri.
Beyond simply fulfilling gift requests, the hotel team committed to understanding how they can provide meaningful support to the community throughout the entire year. A few days before Christmas, Kingsford employees will return to the orphanage to personally grant the children's wishes during a special gift-giving celebration and Christmas party.
The hotel has been completely transformed into a lush jungle paradise for the holiday season, offering various festive experiences including Holi-stay packages, Jungle Jolly Hampers, and exclusive dining events such as the Feast in the Wild Christmas Eve Jungle Banquet and the Roar into 2026 New Year's Eve Countdown.
