227 Scholars Get P4,000 Each from Pampanga Governor

A total of 227 scholars at the Jose Feliciano College Foundation (JFCF) recently received P4,000 each from Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda. This initiative is part of the provincial government's ongoing support for students from low-income families.

Educational Financial Assistance Program

The assistance was released under the Educational Financial Assistance Program (EFAP), which provides aid to indigent college and senior high school students. Under the program, scholars receive the assistance twice every semester.

Provincial officials emphasized that the program aims to ease the financial burden on students and help them continue their education without interruption. Governor Pineda stated that the provincial government remains committed to supporting education as a key to a better future.

Additional Support for Out-of-School Youth

Aside from EFAP, Governor Pineda highlighted that the provincial government also supports out-of-school youth and underprivileged Kapampangans through the Alternative Learning System (ALS). This system provides a flexible approach to education for those who cannot attend regular schooling.

The distribution event was held at the JFCF campus, where beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the timely assistance. The program is expected to continue in the coming semesters, with more students set to benefit from the provincial government's educational initiatives.
