Fifty-four outstanding Senior Scouts from Cebu City have achieved the highest rank in scouting as they were formally conferred as Eagle Scouts during a special recognition ceremony over the weekend.

Court of Honor 2025 Celebrates Scouting Excellence

The Eagle Scout Court of Honor 2025 took place on Saturday, November 29, at the Zapatera Elementary School Gymnasium, where scouts from Areas 1 and 2 of the Cebu City Division received their prestigious awards. The event recognized young individuals who demonstrated exceptional service, discipline, and leadership qualities throughout their scouting journey.

Parents, fellow troop members, and scout leaders filled the venue to witness the meaningful ceremony. Each honoree received the distinguished Eagle Scout Medal, symbolizing their commitment to the principles of scouting and their communities.

Notable Achievers and Community Projects

Among the distinguished recipients was Frederick Kesner, who ranks among the Top 10 Most Outstanding Boy Scouts (Tobs) of the Philippines. Kesner described the recognition as more than just an award, emphasizing that it serves as "a platform to inspire the youth of today."

Kesner's remarkable community initiative, "Project Alaga: When the Heart of Service Meets the Call of Change," organized a free medical mission in Barangay Labangon. The project successfully partnered with Cebu Doctors' University to provide essential healthcare services to underserved community residents.

Another standout scout, Vynz Oba-ob, a Tobs qualifier from Eastern Visayas, was recognized for his exemplary leadership qualities that distinguished him among his peers.

Additional Honors and Scouting Legacy

The ceremony also featured the presentation of special awards to exceptional scouts. Crispin Caballero received the Bronze Anahaw Award, while Vench Limosnero was honored with the Silver Anahaw Award. These distinctions recognize scouts who have demonstrated outstanding performance in both service and leadership capacities.

The 2025 Court of Honor event highlighted the continuing dedication of scouts to the Scout Oath and Law. It also marked a significant milestone for the Cebu scouting movement as it continues to promote active, purpose-driven youth leadership in the region.

The ceremony underscored the importance of developing young leaders who are committed to serving their communities and creating positive change through concrete actions and sustainable projects.
