The National Basketball Association (NBA) has fined San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama for violating the league's media access rules.
Following the Spurs' 127-114 loss to the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals series, Wembanyama did not grant interviews to reporters. He had just recorded 20 points in the game.
Historically, several players have been penalized by the NBA for similar infractions, including Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler.
