Security Guard Nabbed in Toledo Drug Buy-Bust

A security guard who was reportedly selling drugs as a side hustle was arrested in a buy-bust operation at 12:47 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026, in Barangay Bato, Toledo City.

Suspect Identified

The Toledo City Police Station identified the suspect as Daryl Magahin Kyamko, 35, single, and a resident of the same area. Meanwhile, authorities are still searching for his accomplice, Arnold Caballes, an adult and neighbor of the suspect, who managed to escape upon noticing the presence of police officers.

Operation Details

Members of the Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Toledo City Police Station arrested the security guard after several days of monitoring his activities.

Recovered from the suspect's possession were 2.56 grams of shabu valued at P17,408. The arrested individual is currently detained at the Toledo City Police Station while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against him.
