Two Malaysians Affected in Angeles Building Collapse

Two Malaysians were affected by the collapse of a building still under construction in Angeles City early Sunday, March 24, 2026, according to the confirmation of the Malaysian Embassy in Manila.

According to the embassy, one of the two Malaysians has been confirmed rescued by local authorities, while the search for the second Malaysian continues.

“The Embassy is in close communication with local authorities to monitor the well-being of the citizen who is safe and to verify the status and whereabouts of the remaining national,” the embassy said in a statement.

Furthermore, “all necessary efforts are being made to locate and establish contact with the next of kin of both individuals.”

The Malaysian Embassy also expressed its condolences over the incident, especially to the families affected by the event.
