A 34-year-old man was arrested by his neighbors after he allegedly went on a rampage and threatened residents in Sitio Puntod, Alaska, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City on Sunday evening, May 24, 2026.
Suspect Identified
The suspect was identified as alias Carlo, while the complainant was his neighbor alias Mark, 47, a mason by occupation.
Police Investigation
According to the Mambaling Police Station investigation, the incident occurred at around 7:00 p.m. Police immediately responded after receiving a complaint from residents.
It was learned that Carlo suddenly went berserk and uttered profanities, which led to threats that caused fear among the residents in the area.
Not content with that, the suspect also shouted and refused to listen even when his neighbors tried to reprimand him.
According to residents, the suspect is known to be hot-tempered and a drug user, which is why he has many enemies.
Carlo is currently detained at the Mambaling Police Station and is expected to face charges for Alarm and Scandal and Grave Threats.
