According to Puno, the congressman suffered a fatal heart attack. Police reports provided further details on the tragic incident. Acop was found unconscious on the floor inside his bedroom. He was rushed to the hospital past 10 p.m. but was pronounced dead at 10:56 p.m. on December 20.
