Entrepreneur Arrested for Car Theft in Consolacion

A businessman was arrested on a warrant for carnapping at his home in a subdivision in Barangay Casili, Consolacion, at around 12:58 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. The suspect, identified as Jesus Ricardo Villaflor, alias Jerick Yeo Lu, 40, resides in the area but is originally from Davao City.

Details of the Case

Investigations revealed that Villaflor rented two SUVs but failed to return them. Reports indicate that he sold the vehicles. Operatives from the Criminal Investigation Detection Group (CIDG) Cebu Field Unit (CFU) arrested Villaflor as part of “Oplan Pagtugis” against wanted criminals.

Most Wanted Status

Villaflor is listed as the Top 6 Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Central Visayas for carnapping. Hon. Judge Claire Eufracia Pagayanan of Regional Trial Court (RTC) 7 Branch 15 issued the warrant of arrest on May 25, 2026, for two carnapping cases.

Bail and Previous Arrest

The suspect is allowed to post bail of PHP 300,000 for each case. Additionally, Villaflor had been previously arrested in Cebu after his wife filed a complaint for physical abuse. He is currently detained at the CIDG 7 Regional Office detention cell.
