Personnel of the Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) underwent a surprise drug test on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, under the leadership of Police Colonel Abubakar Mangelen Jr. The move is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen integrity, accountability, and professionalism within the police force in Cebu Province.
Drug Testing Conducted by Regional Forensic Unit
The drug test was conducted by personnel of the Regional Forensic Unit 7 as part of the Philippine National Police's internal cleansing program. The initiative aims to ensure that police officers are drug-free, disciplined, and ready to fulfill their duties.
