A 59-year-old man was arrested inside his cell after police raided his residence due to his frequent display of a firearm on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:47 a.m. in Purok Masitera, Duterte Street, Barangay Suba, Danao City.
Suspect Identified as 'Bato'
The suspect, identified only by the alias “Bato,” a resident of the area, was apprehended by operatives of the Danao City Police Station based on a search warrant issued by Judge Ma. Josefa C. Pinza-Ramos of RTC 7 Branch 90, Danao City.
Recovered Items
Recovered from his possession were a .38 caliber revolver and three live ammunition rounds. The suspect failed to present any legal documents for the firearm.
