Operation Details and Arrest

The operation was launched at 8:36 PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in Sitio Marina, Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City. The target of the operation was Orlando Lomolyo Villamor, also known as "Lando," a 31-year-old resident of Sitio Banika, Barangay Quiot. The Mabolo Police Station's Drug Enforcement Unit carried out the buy-bust, resulting in Villamor's immediate arrest.

Villamor is classified by the police as a high-value individual (HVI) in the local drug trade, making his capture a significant blow to narcotics distribution in the area. Following his arrest, he was taken to the Mabolo Police Station for processing and detention.

Massive Drug Haul and Legal Proceedings

The evidence seized during the operation is substantial. Police recovered several packets containing the suspected illegal drug shabu, weighing approximately 250 grams. The standard drug price for this quantity is pegged at a staggering P1.7 million.

To ensure the integrity of the evidence, the confiscated items have been forwarded to the PNP Regional Forensic Unit 7 for a thorough chemical analysis. This analysis will confirm the exact nature and purity of the seized substance.

Meanwhile, the Cebu City Prosecutor's Office is preparing to file formal charges against Orlando Villamor. The cases will be for violations of Section 5 and Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. These sections typically pertain to the sale, trading, and possession of dangerous drugs.
