The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) identified the suspect as alias Rommel, a 46-year-old driver for a courier firm.
Rommel was apprehended around 10 p.m. while operating a delivery truck loaded with smuggled cigarettes. The driver, vehicle, and seized contraband were transported to Zamboanga City Police Station 5 for proper inventory and documentation.
