Major Drug Bust Nets PHP3.4 Million in Shabu
Law enforcement agencies scored a significant victory against illegal drugs in Central Luzon after apprehending two high-value suspects and seizing suspected shabu worth approximately PHP3.4 million in Dinalupihan, Bataan.
The successful buy-bust operation occurred on Sunday, November 16, 2025, around 11:25 a.m., marking another blow to drug trafficking activities in the region.
Suspects and Seized Evidence
The arrested individuals were identified through their aliases as "Nai," aged 43, and "Abdul," aged 32. Both suspects are residents of Barangay Mabini Proper in Dinalupihan.
During the operation, authorities recovered substantial evidence including:
- Five knot-tied plastic sachets containing approximately 500 grams of suspected shabu
- A black mobile phone
- One PHP1,000 marked bill placed over boodle money
- A black belt bag
The quantity of seized drugs represents a significant street value that could have affected countless individuals and communities.
Coordinated Law Enforcement Effort
This operation demonstrated effective inter-agency cooperation with participation from multiple law enforcement units. The joint effort included personnel from the Bataan Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Dinalupihan Municipal Police Station, Bataan Provincial Intelligence Unit, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency including its interdiction unit in Central Luzon.
