PSA Davao del Sur Urges Public to Report National ID Rejection
PSA Davao del Sur: Report National ID Rejection

The Philippine Statistics Authority Davao del Sur Provincial Statistical Office (PSA-DavSur) continues to implement the provisions of Republic Act No. 11055, known as the National Identification System Act. This law aims to provide a valid proof of identity that simplifies both public and private transactions, promotes seamless service delivery, and encourages the wider use of the National ID across various sectors.

Public Urged to Report Non-Acceptance

In line with these efforts, PSA-DavSur is urging the public to report any private or government institutions that fail or refuse to accept the different formats of the National ID—whether card, paper, or digital—as valid proof of identity. This directive aligns with PSA public advisories and issuances, as well as the penal provisions stipulated under Section 19 of Republic Act No. 11055.
