A man suspected of vandalizing a property near the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC) in Barangay Guizo, Mandaue City, voluntarily surrendered to the police after his motorcycle plate number was identified through a viral social media post.

Mandaue City Administrator Atty. Gonzalo “Sally” Malig-on confirmed that the suspect, an adult resident of Barangay Guizo, admitted to spray-painting the property. He surrendered at City Hall upon learning that authorities and the public had identified him.

The suspect was ordered to clean the vandalized property, and the city is studying possible charges to file against him.

Stricter Anti-Vandalism Measures Considered
