A 62-year-old man was arrested by police in Barangay Lutac, Ugan, Naga City after he went on a rampage, threatened to kill, and caused disturbances among his family and neighbors. The incident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
The suspect, identified as alias Ignacio, is now in the custody of the Naga Police Station and has been charged with Alarms and Scandal.
According to the investigation, the suspect was drunk at the time and was playing loud music from his vehicle, disturbing neighbors who were resting. When approached and asked to lower the volume, the suspect became angry and issued threats accompanied by profanity.
Police reported that the suspect was not satisfied and proceeded to get a knife and scissors, then threatened his children and other people in the vicinity.
It was learned that the incident began at around 10:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, and lasted until the morning of June 9. When police arrived, the suspect was still shouting and making threats, leading to his arrest.
