IEKHQ Holdings, a global cross-border business company, announced on June 5, 2026, that it will change its name to HQ Company and accelerate its expansion into the global market.
Reason for the Name Change
The decision to rebrand was made to move beyond the existing holding company structure and to begin developing a work-oriented and mobile business in earnest. The new name also aims to build a more intuitive and modern brand identity.
Leadership and Business Portfolio
HQ Company, led by Founder and CEO Yongsoo Samuel Cho, has been developing a diversified business portfolio that includes trade, investment, and the development of new and renewable energy infrastructure between Korea and the Philippines. Leveraging Korea's advanced technology, the company is leading large-scale infrastructure projects, such as build-operate-transfer (BOT) projects in the Philippines.
A company official stated, "The new mission, 'HQ Company', is a change to become more familiar and clearer to partner companies. We will be reborn as a 'comprehensive business platform' that directly leads local businesses and creates synergy beyond simple investment management."
Future Plans
With this name change, HQ Company plans to further strengthen communication with global partners and investors. It will also accelerate the expansion of new energy and infrastructure businesses that are being pursued from its offices in Gangnam, Seoul, and Manila, Philippines (BGC), along with other detailed offices.
