Mandaue Ball Club (MBC) and Pardo Ball Club (PBC) advanced to the finals of the Power 60 Friendship Cup senior citizens basketball tournament after winning their respective semi-final matches on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Pardo Sports Complex in Poblacion Pardo, Cebu City.
MBC, which entered the semifinals undefeated in six games during the elimination round of the seven-team tournament, continued its dominant run by defeating Lagtang Basketball Gold (LBG), 79-58, in the main game. In the first game, PBC edged out Power Forty, 95-83.
MBC Overcomes Early Deficit
MBC trailed LBG after the first quarter, 18-23, but completely turned the game around afterward and controlled the match until the final buzzer.
PBC Stars Shine
In the other game, Danny Lim and Teody Ebrado led PBC's fierce revenge against Power Forty, which had beaten them earlier in the elimination round, 75-61. Lim scored 33 points while Ebrado added 28 points for PBC.
