A 57-year-old man was arrested for the fourth time in a drug bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, Dalaguete town, on Sunday evening, May 31, 2026.
The suspect was identified as Gregorio Dibdib Lenares, alias “Boboy,” married, and a resident of the area. He was apprehended at around 8:45 PM.
In an interview with SunStar Superbalita Cebu, Police Major Vincent Zozobrado, chief of the Dalaguete Police Station, said they conducted a buy-bust operation where they purchased a pack of suspected shabu from alias “Boboy” for P500.
After the arrest, police recovered an additional 19 packs of shabu from Lenares. The total seized drugs weighed four grams and had an estimated market value of over P27,000.
According to Major Zozobrado, this is the fourth time alias Boboy has been arrested for drug-related offenses.
