Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II spearheaded the distribution of agricultural inputs to local farmers as part of the Rice Program and High Value Crops Program under the City Agriculture Office. The initiative underscores the local government's commitment to enhancing food security and strengthening the agricultural sector.
Distribution of Essential Farm Inputs
During the event, farmers received rice seeds, fertilizers, foliar fertilizers, soil enhancers, and other farm inputs designed to boost production and improve harvest yields. These resources are expected to help increase the productivity of local farms.
High Value Crops Program Support
Additionally, the program distributed 55 crates of planting materials to beneficiaries of the High Value Crops Program. This effort aims to promote more productive and sustainable farming practices within the community, ensuring long-term agricultural growth.
