The Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) seized over P1 million worth of shabu during a four-day anti-criminality operation from June 5 to June 8, 2026.
According to the CPPO, they launched 48 anti-illegal drug operations, resulting in the arrest of 61 drug personalities, including 58 alleged drug pushers and two drug users.
Authorities also confiscated 140.98 grams of shabu with a total street value of P958,664.
In addition to the drug campaign, police arrested 24 wanted persons, including five Most Wanted Persons, through 25 operations.
During the campaign against unlicensed firearms, 14 weapons were seized and 14 violators were apprehended.
Police also arrested 20 gamblers and seized P3,620 in alleged gambling bets.
CPPO Director Police Colonel Abubakar Mangelen Jr. said the success of the operations demonstrates the police force's continuous efforts to combat crime and maintain peace and order in Cebu Province.
