PNP Gives Over P4M Reward to 21 Informants

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has distributed over P4 million in reward money to 21 civilian informants. PNP chief General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. led the distribution of cash incentives, which were key to the successful arrest of criminals.

Largest Reward

The largest reward amounted to P1 million, which led to the arrest of a wanted person facing 54 counts of terrorism financing. Another informant received P450,000 for helping authorities resolve cases such as murder, kidnapping, and serious illegal detention.

PNP Chief's Statement

According to the PNP chief, this initiative is important to assist the police in solving crimes across different parts of the country. He emphasized the value of civilian cooperation in law enforcement efforts.
