Starting Monday, January 5, 2026, and running until January 20, entrepreneurs can process their permits at the newly inaugurated Business One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) building located at Plaza del Pilar in Zone 4 village.

Mayor Khymer Olaso will officially lead the inauguration ceremony of the new BOSS building at 8 a.m. on Monday, January 5. According to Benjie Barredo, the chief of the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), the processing of applications will commence immediately following the inaugural event. This move centralizes essential government services, aiming to drastically cut red tape for the city's business community.
A Streamlined Process for Entrepreneurs
Barredo emphasized that the primary goal of establishing the permanent BOSS home is to consolidate all relevant government agencies and city departments under one roof. This integration is designed to provide a faster, simpler, and more efficient experience for anyone starting or renewing a business in Zamboanga. In preparation for the opening, agencies involved in the BOSS, with support from the Computer Services Division, have been diligently setting up their operations within the new facility.
Dual Transaction Options Available
To cater to different preferences and ensure accessibility, the city will offer two modes of transaction for the 2026 registration cycle. Business owners can choose between utilizing the electronic BOSS (eBOSS) system for online processing or engaging in traditional face-to-face transactions at the new building.
