Pag-IBIG Fund's Pampanga Housing Fair to Offer Over 20,000 Affordable Homes
Pag-IBIG Pampanga Fair Features 20K+ Affordable Homes

Pag-IBIG Fund is set to host a major regional housing fair in Pampanga, offering more than 20,000 affordable housing units across Central Luzon to aspiring homeowners. The event, scheduled for March 18 and 19 at the LausGroup Event Centre in San Fernando City, aims to make homeownership more accessible through the government's Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program (4PH).

Affordable Housing Options with Low Monthly Payments

The two-day fair will feature homes with monthly payments as low as PHP3,411, providing a significant opportunity for families seeking budget-friendly housing solutions. Organized in partnership with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), the event brings together over 40 developers and housing agencies to present socialized housing and house-and-lot options in a single venue.

Government Support and Subsidized Interest Rates

DHSUD Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board Chairman Jose Ramon Aliling emphasized that this initiative aligns with the administration's push to ensure decent housing for Filipinos. "Through the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program, we are making homeownership more accessible to more Filipino families," Aliling stated. He added that it supports President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing for every family.

The fair will highlight socialized units with a 3-percent subsidized interest rate, qualifying families with a monthly income of at least PHP11,443. Additionally, selected units priced up to PHP1.8 million will be offered at a promotional 4.5-percent interest rate, with monthly payments starting at PHP9,120.

Expanding Access Through Regional Fairs

Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta noted that this event marks the beginning of a series of regional fairs designed to bring housing opportunities closer to members. "By pairing housing units from across the region with affordable Pag-IBIG housing loan terms, we are helping make homeownership more accessible to Filipino workers," Acosta explained.

On-site assistance will be provided by the "Lingkod Pag-IBIG" team, offering end-to-end support from initial inquiries to housing loan guidance. Beyond new projects, the fair will also feature over 3,000 acquired assets at discounted prices and other promotional offers.

Event Details and Requirements

The housing fair is open to the public for free, starting at 8 a.m. on both days. Attendees are advised to bring one valid ID and proof of income, such as a recent payslip or income tax return, for on-site evaluation. This comprehensive event underscores the government's commitment to addressing housing needs and promoting economic stability for Filipino families.
